The spokesperson of the 28 women that had sued the US Soccer Federation, claiming that the organization is violating the Equal Pay Act, Molly Levinson, said that they are planning to appeal the court's decision to dismiss the case. Federal judge Gary Klausner explained in his ruling that "The women's team has been paid more on both a cumulative and an average per-game basis than the men's team over the class period".
