KLM flight from Bucharest to Amsterdam searched after bomb threat

Reuters reports that the Saturday KLM flight from Bucharest to Amsterdam (KL1376) was evacuated before just before the departure on after a bomb threat was received, which later appeared to have been a false alarm.

KLM informed that passengers and crew have been taken off-board of the Boeing 737 and are safe, the flight will departure now on Sunday

Potential right-wing terrorist detained in Poland

According to the Polish counterintelligence agency ABW, a German man was arrested last week in Poland. The suspect apparently has a right-wing background and a history of online hate speech. He was charged with possession of weapons and explosives. A further investigation is underway.

Today Americans are commemorating 9/11 with various tributes across the country. President Trump and the first lady held a moment of silence aboard the Air Force One, while the White House staff observed a moment of silence at 8:46 am ET.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and Vice President Mike Pence are attending the 9/11 ceremony at Ground Zero in New York City.

Christchurch mosque terrorist sentenced to life without parole

The Christchurch mosque gunman and far-right terrorist Brenton Tarrant has been sentenced to life without parole in a Christchurch court on Thursday. He pleaded guilty to 51 counts of murder, 40 counts of attempted murder and one charge of terrorism. Tarrant is the first person in New Zealand's history to be convicted of terrorism and to receive life with parole.

"As far as I am able to gauge you are empty of any empathy to your victims," said Justice Cameron Mander. "Your crimes are so wicked that even if you are detained until you die, it will not exhaust the requirements of punishment."

On March 15, 2019, Tarrant opened fire on two mosques in Christchurch, killing 51 Muslim worshipers and injuring 40.

A suicide bomber drove an explosives-laden car at the gates of the military base "12th April Army Brigade" in Mogadishu, Somalia. Officials have reported the death of 8 people so far and over a dozen injured. The base is located near the newly reopened stadium in the Warta-Nabadda district.

The al-Qaida-linked al-Shabaab militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Business Insider report: Taliban sources confirm that Russia put bounties on US soldiers

According to a report from Business Insider two active Taliban commanders and one former commander have confirmed that Russia pays for bounties to attack and kill soldiers of the United States in Afghanistan.
All three sources stated that they had not participated in the program and disparaged the practice, but confirmed the existence. According to one source the groups that associate with the Taliban but are not close to the central leadership the Quetta Shura "will do anything for money, and Russia, Iran, Pakistan, and other countries will hire them for operations".

He stated that he wasn't approached by Russia himself as he was based in a different region of Afghanistan as they operate in, but regularly by Iran. According to Business Insider, an official of the NATO military intelligence has also confirmed that the practice is well-known.

Multiple people dead after raid on Pakistani stock exchange in Karachi

Four gunmen attacked the Pakistani stock exchange in Karachi, killing at least two people and wounding others before police shot them dead. A police officer and security officials are also among those confirmed dead.

In an interview with BBC, Sindh police additional inspector general Ghulam Nabi Memon said: "The attackers came in a silver Corolla and were stopped by police at the gate outside where the exchange of fire took place,".

Militants from the Majid Brigade of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) took responsibility for the attack, but the claim has yet to be confirmed.

Business travellers who fall victim to a terrorist attack while visiting a restaurant are not generally entitled to benefits from statutory accident insurance.

The State Social Court in Lower Saxony decided that a restaurant visit was private, even if the business trip was ordered. A worker sued and was the victim of the Ansbach attack in 2016. He justified his claim that the restaurant visit would be directly related to the posting.

German Police officers investigated for unauthorized use of police computers

Two police officers and former members of the Uniter association, which is monitored by the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, are being investigated for unauthorized data queries from police computers.

The association is suspected of having formed a network of elite soldiers, military personnel, employees from security agencies and the private security industry. It is said that paramilitary training allegedly has been offered by the group.

Uniter is also repeatedly associated with right-wing terrorist groups such as "Nordkreuz", which are preparing for a coup and day X.
