Kelsey Grammer has confirmed that he'll be reprising his role as Dr Frasier Crane in a reboot of the 90's hit TV show "Frasier" to be streamed by Paramount+.
During its first run, Frasier won 37 Emmy Awards over the course of its 11 seasons and is considered one of the most successful TV sitcoms.
"I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr Frasier Crane," so Grammer.

Netflix has acquired the rights to the Redwall children’s fantasy book series by English writer Brian Jacques and is turning the 22-book-series into an animated movie and event series. The deal was made between Netflix and Penguin House Children and the feature film will be written by Patrick McHale, who created Cartoon Network's "Over the Garden Wall".

Charisma Carpenter, who starred as Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, has accused Joss Whedon of misconduct and abuse of power on set in a statement published on Twitter.
"Joss Whedon abused his power on numerous occasions while working on the sets of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. While he found his misconduct amusing, it only served to intensify my performance anxiety, disempower me, and alienate me from my peers. The disturbing incidents triggered a chronic physical condition from which I still suffer. It is with a beating, heavy heart that I say I coped in isolation and, at times, destructively," so Carpenter.
Actress Amber Benson replied shortly after, writing that "Buffy was a toxic environment and it starts at the top" and that "there was a lot of damage done during that time and many of us are still processing it twenty plus years later."

A Sex and the City revival is heading to the small screen, more than 20 years after the hit series made its debut, but only Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will return. Kim Cattrall, who played the popular character, Samantha, will not feature.
The new series, named 'And Just Like That...', will consist of 10 half-hour episodes and production will begin in late spring.

According to JA Bayona, who is directing the new Amazon-exclusive series playing in the Lord of the Rings universe, the production has wrapped up filming in New Zealand. He posted on Instagram that "this is my last photo in New Zealand" but added that his "heart feels a little kiwi no" and that he "can't wait to be back" while also thanking "this extraordinary land and its beautiful people for taking me in".
There is no release date for the series as of yet.

WandaVision, one of Marvel Studios' most anticipated new series, will premier on January 15th, 2021 on Disney Plus. The announcement was made on Disney Plus's official Twitter account along with a teaser showing mostly already released images.

AMC's zombie apocalypse TV show The Walking Dead will end in 2022 after an "expanded 11th season". Season 10 has been delayed due to Covid-19 and will air in 2021.

Each celebrity will be paired with a professional dancer.

Netflix has released the trailer for "The Haunting of Bly Manor", the follow-up to 2018's "The Haunting of Hill House."
Bly Manor is based on the 1898 novella "The Turn of the Screw" by Henry James and stars Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, T'Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith and Amelia Eve.

Netflix has renewed "The Crown" for a final sixth season. This announcement comes after the streaming services said the series would come to a close with its fifth season in January.
"As we started to discuss the storylines for series five, it soon became clear that in order to do justice to the richness and complexity of the story, we should go back to the original plan and do six seasons," so writer Peter Morgan.

Netflix has released the trailer for the second season of the superhero series "The Umbrella Academy". This time, the Hargreeves siblings are "blasted back in time to 1960s Dallas, the scattered siblings build new lives for themselves — until a new doomsday threat pulls them back together." Season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on July 31.

Netflix has released multiple stills of the second season of The Umbrella Academy. The photos show the Hargreeves siblings in a 1960's setting and, according to Entertainment Weekly, "the team gets split up in the process" of time-travelling.

Long-running reality TV show "Cops" has been cancelled after 32 seasons. Paramount Network confirmed the cancellation on Tuesday, saying in a statement that "Cops is not on the Paramount Network" and they "don’t have any current or future plans for it to return."
"Cops" was pulled from the network's schedule last month amid growing outcry and protests against police brutality following the death of unarmed black man George Floyd at the hands of a police officer.
