A gunman shot and killed ten people, including the first police officer who responded, at a Boulder, Colorado, King Soopers supermarket on Monday at 2:30 pm. The assailant was wounded on the scene and taken into custody, neither name of the shooter nor details about the mass shooting have yet been revealed. This was the seventh mass shooting in seven days in the United States.
"These were people going about their day, doing their shopping and their lives were cut abruptly short and tragically short by the shooter who is now in custody," Michael Dougherty, the district attorney for Boulder County, said at a news conference. "I hope that people of this country send the families of the loved ones their thoughts and prayers. But from my perspective, there's more for us to do than give them thoughts and prayers. We're going to go all out to ensure the right result is reached."
Two people died and fourteen were injured during a shooting at a house party in Rochester, NY. Police arrived at the "very chaotic scene" where approx. 100 people were running down the street.
"We could see and observe multiple victims of gunshot wounds at that time," so Acting Rochester Police Chief Mark Simmons, describing the event as a "tragedy of epic proportion".
As of now, no suspects are in custody and it's unclear how many shooters there were.
According to Sheriff's Department Lt. Brandon Dean a man had been pulled over by two deputies as he was riding a bicycle that had been in violation of vehicle laws. According to them, the Black man carried a handgun and was shot as he was fighting with the deputies after a chase.
Dean stated that "our suspect was holding some items of clothing in his hands, punched one of the officers in the face, and then dropped the items in his hands" and that "the deputies noticed that inside the clothing items he dropped was a black semiautomatic handgun, at which time a deputy-involved shooting occurred".
Protesters have gathered in South Los Angeles.
The man shot during a clash between right-wing supporters and protestors on Saturday was identified as Aaron J. Danielson by the Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office, so Portland police officials. He died of a wound to the chest.
The right-wing group Patriot Prayer is mourning Danielson's death. A suspect has not been identified yet.
According to a spokesperson for Attorney General William Barr, the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are "actively offering support and resources" to Portland police.

In an attack to the family home of US federal judge Esther Sales, her 20-year-old son was shot dead and her husband injured. Investigators said the judge was unharmed.
According to reports the attacker was dressed as a FedEx delivery driver.
The FBI posted a call for informations on Twitter: "The FBI is investigating a shooting that occurred at the home of Judge Ester Salas in North Brunswick Township, New Jersey earlier this evening, July 19. We're looking for one subject & ask that anyone who thinks they may have relevant information call us at 1-973-792-3001."

On Saturday night, Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in a parking lot in Syracuse, New York. At the scene, they found a large gathering of a "few hundred" and people running towards them, saying shots had been fired. A total of nine people sustained injuries with one being in critical condition and the others being stable with non-life-threatening injuries, so Police Chief Kenton Buckner. As of now, the investigation is ongoing and in its early stages.
Following a flight attempt from the prison "Roter Ochse" by the shooter from Halle, the legal committee of the Magdeburg state parliament announced that an independent panel of experts should investigate the security in the prison. The deputy head of the institution is accused of having independently relaxed the strict security requirements of the Ministry of Justice.
At the end of May, the 28-year-old suspected terrorist shooter had managed to overcome a fence more than three meters high when he had free access inside the prison walls but then failed at the doors.

A gunman shot and killed five people in Juba, South Sudan, on Wednesday morning. President Kiir's secretary Ateny Wek Ateny said the president is "saddened about the shooting incident". The president's office issued a statement shortly after in which they wrote that the gunman was not his son but a distance cousin of the President named Lual Akook Wol Kiir. After the shooting, protests and riots started in Juba suburb Shirikaat.
The office said that the perpetrator "has been arrested by authorities and is under close monitor in hospital, in a critical condition."
The Colorado police have arrested a person on suspicion of attempted murder. According to the authorities, the person tried to order at a Waffle House in the Denver suburb Aurora and was told by the staff that he needs to wear a mask in order to place an order for takeout. The suspect allegedly returned at a later point and was turned away again, because he did not wear a mask despite having one with him. According to the police he then returned for the third time and shot the victim as it was running from him.
On Sunday, 600 people gathered at a park in Forth Worth, Texas when multiple shots were fired at around 6:30 pm. Two were critically injured, the other three sustained minor injuries. According to Police, the crowd had gathered in the park despite social distancing orders.
So far, it's unclear who and why opened fire. Another shooting was reported 30 minutes later at a convenience store less than a mile away from the park. Police are investigating whether the two shootings were related.

A customer shot two Oklahoma City McDonald's employees after she was asked to leave the store's lobby, which has been closed for dining due to social distancing restrictions. When told to leave, the woman took out a gun and opened fire on the employees. Three workers were shot and a fourth suffered a head injury, neither injury was life-threatening.
