A new Slack feature that is set to be rolled out in 2021 will allow users to message each other directly across workspaces. Users will get a unique link that you can share with other users that will then be able to message you directly, no matter if you are in the same workspace or not.

The feature will be rolled out through Slack Connect which aims at enabling collaboration between businesses of different sized.
