Netflix Series

Gaming company Valve and video platform Netflix have announced that the computer game Dota2 will become its own anime series.
The series is titled "DOTA: Dragon's Blood" and is to consist of a total of eight episodes, which will be released worldwide on the streaming platform as early as 25 March 2021.
Ashley Edward Miller (X-Men: First Class, Thor and Black Sails) serves as series showrunner and executive producer. Renowned Studio MIR (The Legend of Korra and Netflix's Voltron: Legendary Defender) is responsible for animation, with Ryu Ki Hyun serving as Co-Executive Producer.

Netflix has acquired the rights to the Redwall children’s fantasy book series by English writer Brian Jacques and is turning the 22-book-series into an animated movie and event series. The deal was made between Netflix and Penguin House Children and the feature film will be written by Patrick McHale, who created Cartoon Network's "Over the Garden Wall".

Netflix announced Tuesday that it is developing an original series based on the sci-fi book trilogy "The Three-Body Problem" by the Chinese author Liu Cixin.
Rian Johnson, director of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, former "Game of Thrones" showrunners, signed as showrunners.

Netflix has released the trailer for "The Haunting of Bly Manor", the follow-up to 2018's "The Haunting of Hill House."
Bly Manor is based on the 1898 novella "The Turn of the Screw" by Henry James and stars Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, T'Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Amelie Smith and Amelia Eve.
"Arriving October 9th, this new chapter in the Haunting anthology series revolves around Bly Manor and the lives of its inhabitants, both living and dead," so Netflix about the new series.
