Target to raise minimum wage to $15/hour

Target will raise its hourly minimum wage to $15 an hour by July 5. This will impact 275,000 employees working in Target stores and distribution centres. Furthermore, hourly employees will receive a one-time $200 bonus "for their efforts throughout the coronavirus pandemic".

Spanish cabinet agrees on plans for for national minimum income

According to a spokesperson the Spanish cabinet has approved a national minimum income of 462€ for citizens that earn below this threshold. People between 21 and 65 that earn below the minimum will receive money from the government to ensure that they get at least the minimum amount every month. For families the amount can increase up to 1,015€.
