Three unknown perpetrators attack homeless man and burn his tent in Berlin

Three unknown persons allegedly attacked a homeless man in Berlin-Britz and set fire to his belongings. The youths or young men allegedly chased the 59-year-old from his tent in the park on Gutschmidtstraße on Friday evening, according to police on Saturday. Afterward, they allegedly beat and kicked him with sticks. According to the report, he initially fled. When he returned, his tent was on fire. Two hours later, another tent of a homeless man burnt down nearby.

Despite a last-minute evacuation, at least three people have been slightly injured by the explosion of a mobile home in Nashville. Previous to the explosion speakers had warned the people around the vehicle. The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating after the incident in Nashville in the state of Tennessee. The mobile home was apparently deliberately used as a car bomb on Friday, Christmas Day, according to police. The background of the crime is still unclear.

According to reports the home of a suspect in Antioch, Tennessee is being searched.

Kabul: Rockets strike residential areas, several killed

Twenty-three rockets have struck Kabul, Afghan, hitting areas in the centre and the north. According to Tariq Arian, spokesman for the interior ministry, the rockets were fired from a small truck. The regional Islamic State group claimed responsibility. At least eight people have been killed, over 30 wounded.

Amnesty international: 54 dead after Ethiopia massacre

After a massacre carried out by rebels in western Ethiopia on Sunday, survivors have counted 54 bodies in a schoolyard, according to Amnesty International.

The attack deliberately targeted the ethnic Amhara minority. The prime minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed, has denounced the attack and stated that security forces had been sent to the area and "started taking measures".

A suicide bomber drove an explosives-laden car at the gates of the military base "12th April Army Brigade" in Mogadishu, Somalia. Officials have reported the death of 8 people so far and over a dozen injured. The base is located near the newly reopened stadium in the Warta-Nabadda district.

The al-Qaida-linked al-Shabaab militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Police Scotland has stated that after an attack in Glasgow the situation is under control and that there is no danger to the "wider public". A male suspect had previously attacked multiple people with a knife, and six people are receiving treatment in a hospital for their injuries. The called armed police officers shot the suspect inside the Park Inn hotel, where the attack is believed to have happened. One police officer has been injured, and the suspect has been shot dead.

6.000 people at illegal raves in England - one dead

The police are investigating after 4.000 attended an illegal rave in Droylsden in North-Western England. According to reports, one 20-year-old man has died from an overdose of drugs. At an illegal rave with 2.000 attendees in Carrington near Manchester, an 18-year-old woman has reportedly been raped and one 18-year-old has been seriously injured after been stabbed with a knife. One person was arrested due to suspected weapon carriage. The raves violated the Covid-19 contact restrictions.
