2020 - The Year in Review

King Carl XVI Gustaf, the King of Sweden, has criticised the country's Covid-19 approach in the royal family's annual TV review of the year.
"The people of Sweden have suffered tremendously in difficult conditions. I think we have failed. We have a large number who have died, and that is terrible," he told the state broadcaster SVT.

US President-elect Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris have been named Time magazine's Person of the Year 2020. Other finalists were frontline workers in the fight against Covid-19, Dr Anthony Fauci, the racial justice movement, and President Donald Trump, who lost the election earlier this year.

Google has released its "Year in Search 2020" Wednesday, featuring this year's top searches in various categories.
The top five search queries were Coronavirus, Election results, Kobe Bryant, Zoom and IPL. The list also highlights this year's losses, with people searching for Kobe Bryant, George Floyd, Chadwick Boseman, Sean Connery, Eddie van Halen and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Apple has released its annual list of the best apps and games of 2020 on Wednesday, "recognizing 15 apps and games that proved to be essential for making life easier, healthier, and more connected this year."

Genshin Impact,” “Legends of Runeterra,” “Disco Elysium,” “Dandara Trials of Fear,” and Apple Arcade’s “Sneaky Sasquatch” were crowned as best games of the year.
