The Dutch driver Max Verstappen took his first win of the year in a chaotic, incident-strewn Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as Lewis Hamilton fought back to second place.
Lando Norris took third place after a strong weekend in the McLaren, followed by two Ferraris with Charles Leclerc and team-mate Carlos Sainz.

Hamilton, who celebrated his seventh title two weeks ago, had a comfortable 0.289 seconds lead to Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas and collected the 98th pole of his Formula 1 career.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon were third and fourth, with Sergio Perez in the fifth position.
Renault's Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon were sixth and seventh, separated by just 0.002secs, ahead of Alpha Tauri's Pierre Gasly and McLaren's Lando Norris.

Several cars proved unreliable at the first race of the season, allowing Leclerc and Norris to climb up the ranks during the race. Lando Norris achieved the fastest lap at the very end of the race in a McLaren car to take the first podium of his career.
