Martin Luther King III shared his endorsement in a video message posted online by Yang, a former Democratic presidential contender and New York City-based businessman.

The Humanity Forward organization was funded to provide money directly to the people, following Andrew Yang's repeated calls for a universal basic income during and after his campaign.

The former presidential nominee contender and CNN commentator Andrew Yang called for an economic solution that distributes money to all American citizens. Following his campaign where he advocated for a universal basic income, he continues to advocate for one as a response to the coronavirus referencing to groups of people the money would help directly such as wage workers that lose shifts or parents that are forced to stay home to care for their children.

Following the drop out of Andrew Yang out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, his former contender Marianne Williamson switches her endorsement from Andrew Yang to Senator Bernie Sanders who is still in the race. The endorsement was announced at a Bernie Sanders rally in Austin, Texas.

Former Democratic presidential candidate contender Andrew Yang says "someone needs to pull an Andrew Yang", meaning that someone needs to drop out in order for the field to be able to consolidate. He says that "each candidate wants to be the last person standing to absorb the non-Bernie energy".

The former candidate for the presidential nomination fo the democratic party and businessmen Andrew Yang will join CNN as a political commentator following his dropout of the primary race.
