Without a strict lockdown or any enforced measure, the Uruguayan government relies on citizens' common sense and suggests keeping social distances, reduce meetings as much as possible, permanent use of masks, and so on. Although, there are 792 currently infected cases and 12 ICU patients.

Five years earlier than previously planned, as part of what Prime Minister Boris Johnson is casting as a "green revolution", Britain will ban the sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans from 2030, to cut emissions to net-zero by 2050.

In total the plan would mobilise 12 billion pounds ($16 billion) of government money, with as much as three times that amount coming from the private sector, and create and support 250,000 highly skilled green jobs by 2030, Johnson said.

On Sunday, during the city elections, the Brazilian Superior Electoral Court (TSE) has suffered outages (DDOS attack) that delayed the votes counting procedures. An investigation from the Brazilian Federal Public Minister, together with SaferNet declared that TSE has sufferered a coordinated attack and social network campaign to promote a non-existent elections fraud.

On Sunday morning also, there was a data leak of outdated HR information collected until October 23rd.

Google on Thursday was sued for allegedly stealing Android users' cellular data allowances though unapproved, undisclosed transmissions to the web giant's servers.

The complaint contends that Google is using Android users' limited cellular data allowances without permission to transmit information about those individuals that's unrelated to their use of Google services.

TikTok has filed a petition in a US Court of Appeals calling for a review of actions by the Trump administration’s Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFUIS). The reason, according to the company, is that it hasn’t heard from the committee in weeks about an imminent deadline for parent company ByteDance to sell off US assets over national security concerns.

Donations made to President Donald Trump's "official election defense fund" would also be used to pay off the campaign's debt, according to the fine print on the donation pages.

Trump's website links to a donation paged for an "Official Election Defense Fund," and asks supporters to donate. According to the fine print lower on the page, 60% of the donation would go towards "the retirement of general election debt".

The MI5 page informing the current UK (England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) threat level was changed to SEVERE. Also, the threat to Northern Ireland from Northern Ireland-related terrorism is SEVERE. SEVERE means an attack is highly likely. Just 1 level below the top one: critical.

14 Arrests after Vienna attack

The man accused of carrying out the attack is a 20-year-old "Islamist terrorist" who was released early from jail in December 2019. Police have carried out a series of raids and made 14 arrests in the hours since a gunman murdered four people in the heart of Vienna.
