The Dutch driver Max Verstappen took his first win of the year in a chaotic, incident-strewn Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as Lewis Hamilton fought back to second place.
Lando Norris took third place after a strong weekend in the McLaren, followed by two Ferraris with Charles Leclerc and team-mate Carlos Sainz.

Lewis Hamilton, Mercedez, took pole position ahead of Sergio Perez, Red Bull, in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix qualifying session. Hamilton now has 99 pole positions in his career.
Max Verstappen took the third position and Charles Leclerc put the Ferrari fourth.

Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas finished third as Mercedes got a double podium finish once again. Lando Norris was fourth for McLaren ahead of Sergio Perez, who had started from the pit lane in the second Red Bull, Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and Daniel Ricciardo, of McLaren.

Valtteri Bottas is on pole position for the Sakhir Grand Prix, in Bahrain. Bottas, finished ahead of Mercedes team-mate George Russel, acting as a stand-in for Lewis Hamilton who was forced to miss the event having tested positive forCovid-19.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen took the third place, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc the fourth position, and Sergio Perez will start in the fifth position.

Hamilton, who celebrated his seventh title two weeks ago, had a comfortable 0.289 seconds lead to Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas and collected the 98th pole of his Formula 1 career.

Racing Point's Lance Stroll beat Red Bull's Max Verstappen by 0.290 seconds and took the pole position for the Turkish Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton, on the verge of his seventh title, could manage only a sixth place.
Stroll's pole came completely out of the blue on a day when his Racing Point team clearly had their car set up just so to work the tyres effectively on a treacherously slippery track in challenging conditions.
Stroll's team-mate Sergio Perez was third ahead of Red Bull's Alexander Albon and Renault's Daniel Ricciardo.

Valtteri Bottas beat Mercedes team-mate, Lewis Hamilton, to take the pole position for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola. The Finn was 0.097 seconds quicker than Hamilton, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen starting in third.
The top five are complete with Alpha Tauri's Pierre Gasly taking a surprise fourth position followed by Renault's Daniel Ricciardo in fifth.

The British Lewis Hamilton snatched the pole position for the Portuguese Grand Prix from team-mate Valtteri Bottas with a fast lap at the end of Q3.

After the qualifying, Hamilton said: "I can't tell you how hard that was today! I've just seen that Valtteri topped every session, and I've just been digging to find the time... I chose to do three laps to have a chance to beat his time."

With another solid performance at Nürburgring, Hamilton overtook Bottas, who eventually retired with power issues. Mick Schumacher, himself currently a championship leader in F2, surprised Hamilton with the gift of one of his celebrated father's helmets after the race.
Verstappen took 2nd place and the fastest lap, however Ricciardo's 3rd place was even more celebrated in the paddock as it awarded Renault their first podium in years, which Ricciardo had vowed to achieve before his move to McLaren next season.
The Racing Point team also had reasons to celebrate as they rose to 3rd in the season standings behind Red Bull, following strong performances from drivers Perez and Hülkenberg, the latter having replaced Stroll at the last minute for this weekend's event.

The Finnish Valtteri Bottas is on the pole position of the Eifel Grand Prix, to take place Sunday at the Nurburgring race track in Germany. The Mercedes Benz driver celebrated his 14th career pole.
Bottas teammate Lewis Hamilton to start in second, and Red Bull's Max Verstappen in third.
After the qualifying, Bottas stated "It's such a nice feeling when you get it on the last lap! It was tricky today with a short practice and getting the tyres spot on."
Nico Hulkenberg will replace Lance Stroll for this Grand Prix at the Nurburgring after the Canadian missed practice on Saturday morning after falling ill.

Valtteri Botas won the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix in Sochi. The Finish driver has now nine victories in the category.
Botas finished ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen, with Lewis Hamilton in third.
In the post-race interview, Botas said: "Once I was in clean air I felt that the pace was pretty awesome and that I could control everything.

After the session, Hamilton said, "Firstly, I have say a big hi to all the fans that are here, we've missed the fans all year! I hope everyone's staying safe."

After the session, Hamilton said, "This track is phenomenal. It’s a really challenging circuit. I’ve been working so hard in the background to improve on my lines and set up. I finally got the lap I needed."
The Tuscany Grand Prix will be the 1,000th race for the Ferrari Formula 1 team.

Lewis Hamilton dedicated the pole position to the actor Chadwick Boseman: "What he accomplished and the legacy he left is so incredible to me. He’s inspired a whole generation of young black men and women and provided them with a true superhero to look up to. Rest in power, my friend."

Hamilton started from pole position and was not threatened during the 66 laps of the race, winning for the fourth consecutive time in Barcelona.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen won the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix to bring Mercedes' domination to an end. Verstappen's victory was founded on his car being nicer to its tyres than the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
Hamilton finished second, Bottas third, and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc fourth on a one-stop strategy.
