For the fourth time in six years, PSG celebrated a domestic treble after beating Lyon on penalties to win the French League cup title. The game was played at the Stade de France and watched by about 5,000 supporters.

After the first 10 penalties were scored, PSG keeper Keylor Navas saved from Bertrand Traore before Pablo Sarabia scored the winning kick.

It was the final French League Cup competition, with the decision made last September to cancel the tournament after this season.

Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais will start their preparation for the Champions League on June 22. As the French League was the only of the "big-five" -- English, Spanish, German, Italian and French -- that cancel their current season, so PSG and Lyon will need to prepare with friendlies to be played in July and the French Cup League final in August 1st.

According to UEFA, the Champions League 2019-20 will resume on August.
