A series set in Wakanda is in development at Disney Plus. Ryan Coogler, who will develop the series, is already working on the Black Panther sequel, which begins filming later in 2021.

"Ryan Coogler is a singular storyteller whose vision and range have made him one of the standout filmmakers of his generation," Bob Iger, Executive Chairman of The Walt Disney Company said in a statement. "With Black Panther, Ryan brought a groundbreaking story and iconic characters to life in a real, meaningful and memorable way, creating a watershed cultural moment. In a statement for Proximity Media, Coogler described his experience on Black Panther as "a dream come true" and his excitement to further the relationship with The Walt Disney Company and Marvel Studios on "select MCU shows for Disney+."

Chris Evans nears deal to reprise Captain America role In future Marvel project

Deadline reports that Chris Evans is negotiating a deal to reprise his Captain America role in the MCU in some form. Still vague if deal as completely closed but insiders say it's headed in that direction for Evans to return as Steve Rogers aka Captain America in at least one Marvel property with the door open for a second film.

Chris Evan, on Twitter, claims the reports are “news” to him.

Marvel's WandaVision to premiere on January 15th on Disney Plus

WandaVision, one of Marvel Studios' most anticipated new series, will premier on January 15th, 2021 on Disney Plus. The announcement was made on Disney Plus's official Twitter account along with a teaser showing mostly already released images.
