Brazil's women's national players will be paid the same as male players for representing their country, Brazil's football association (CBF) has said.
All players will be granted the same daily and prize amounts for taking part in preparation periods and games.
Rogério Caboclo, CBF president, stated: "What men will receive at the next World Cup will be proportionally equal to what is proposed by FIFA. There is no more gender difference, as the CBF is treating men and women equally."

The first Brazilian League matchday game between Goiás and São Paulo was postponed minutes before the planned kickoff after ten players from Goiás tested positive for Covid-19.
Test results were announced early Sunday morning when Goiás requested the postponement to the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), but the decision only happened when both teams were lined up for the match.
Besides the ten players that tested positive Sunday, Goiás has three other confirmed cases of Covid-19 -- all of them already in quarantine.
