An emergency curfew from 8 pm to 6 am has been imposed for Miami Beach on Saturday as spring break crowds flocked the area. In addition to the curfew, restaurants have to close at 8 pm in South Beach and three bridges to mainland Miami are being closed between 1 pm an 6 am.

Defqon.1 has to pause for another year. After the World Club Dome Winter Edition, the Ultra Miami and the Coachella 2021 Corona had to be canceled due to Covdid-19, now the first Dutch major event follows suit. The Defqon.1 Festival in Biddinghuizen has been affected.
The gigantic festival, which annually attracts hardstyle fans from all over the world, was planned for June 25-27 and was to take place under the motto "Primal Energy".

NBC did not explicitly say whether they had received a negative Covid-19 test result from Trump.

The Florida Education Association has filed a lawsuit against the Florida government over its order to reopen schools despite rising number of Covid-19 cases. The order, signed by Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran in early June, orders all schools – private and public – to reopen its doors for students starting August. The lawsuit was filed against Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran, the Florida Department of Education, Florida State Board of Education and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez.
"The lawsuit intends to stop the reckless and unsafe reopening of public school campuses as coronavirus infections surge statewide," so the FAE's release.

Uber announced on Tuesday the launch of an app-based grocery service in 19 cities in Latin American and Canadian cities. The initiative is a partnership with Cornershop, a Chilean online grocery provider that Uber has held a majority stake in since October 2019.
Customers in eleven Brazilian cities, including Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, four Chilean cities, Colombia’s Bogota, Peru’s Lima and Canada’s Montreal and Toronto will be able to order groceries through the Uber Eats app. And starting later this month, grocery delivery will be available in Miami, FL and Dallas, TX.

Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez of Miami Dada County has announced a countywide curfew starting on Friday and will last until further notice. The curfew will be from 10 p.m. through "sunrise". Essential workers such as hospital staff, first responders, food deliveries and media are exempted from the curfew.
"This curfew is meant to stop people from venturing out and hanging out with friends in groups, which has shown to be spreading the virus rapidly," so Mayor Gimenez in a statement. He further added: "I am also rolling back the reopening of entertainment facilities, such as movie theaters, arcades, casinos, adult entertainment, concert houses, bowling alleys and other establishments that have recently had their plans approved by the County."
Betty Wright, legendary Soul and R&B singer, dies of cancer at age 66. She died at her home in Miami, according to Billboard. Wright is known for hits such as "Tonight Is The Night" and "Clean Up Woman".
