Detroit sues BLM movement for "civil conspiracy", resisting police orders, inciting riots and other other "illegal acts"

The city of Detroit has filed a lawsuit against the Black Lives Matter movement. The lawsuit alleges that demonstrators were part of "civil conspiracy to disturb the peace, engage in disorderly conduct, incite riots, destroy public property," and resist police orders, among other "illegal acts."

Judge Emmet Sullivan of the US District Court of the District of Columbia ordered the US Postal Service to immediately sweep facilities for ballots in crucial swing states. The order mandates that facilities must start the process by 3pm ET "to ensure that no ballots have been held up and that any identified ballots are immediately sent out for delivery.

Sweeps must be conducted in various crucial swing states, including Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Arizona and South Florida.

FBI arrest six men over plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer

Six people were arrested Thursday morning in a raid over the alleged plot to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan. According to the FBI, the group had been planning the plot since June.

They had surveilled Whitmer's vacation home in August and September, and according to the FBI, they indicated that they wanted to take her hostage before the presidential election in November.

Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Kaleb Franks, Daniel Harris, Brandon Caserta, and Ty Garbin were taken into custody in a raid on a house in suburban Detroit on Thursday morning

19-year-old man dies at protests as shots have been fired into crowd

During the protests against the death of George Floyd a 19-year-old protesting man has been shot. During the night time protests in Detroit, Michigan shots have been fired into a crowd of protestors, killing the man. So far it's unclear who was shooting.
