A woman in Germany died during a ransomware attack on the Düsseldorf University Hospital, in what may be the first death directly linked to a cyberattack on a hospital. The hospital couldn’t accept emergency patients because of the attack, and the woman was sent to a health care facility around 20 miles away.
It could be the first death directly linked to a cybersecurity attack.

In September 2019 investigators raided two addresses of Christoph Metzelder, a former soccer player for the German national team. They confiscated a computer and phone investigating a possible possession and distribution of child pornography.
Public prosecutors have handed in proceedings to the court of Düsseldorf, and the court needs to decide if the indictment would be admitted. Investigators did not provide any information regarding the accusations following a request by SPIEGEL.

Internazionale reached the UEFA Europa League final after an easy win against Shakhtar Donetsk by 5:0 in Dusseldorf.
Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, both twice, and Danilo D'Ambrosio scored the goals for Internazionale.

UEFA announced yesterday several details for the remaining Champions League and Europa League matches. The interrupted rounds of 16 are scheduled to restart on August 5 at unconfirmed locations.
Afterwards, Champions League matches from the quarter-finals up to the final will be played between August 12-23 in Lisbon, while Europa League matches are to be played between August 10-24 at four German cities (Cologne, Duisburg, Dusseldorf and Gelsenkirchen).
Finally, the Women's Champions League will wrap up in the Basque Country region of Spain between August 21-30.
