Swiatek needed only 70 minutes to beat Nadia Podoroska 6-2, 6-1 to reach her first major final, and to be the first Polish woman to reach a Roland Garros final since 1939.

The American Sofia Kenin overcame the two-time Roland Garros winner Petra Kvitova with 6-4, 7-5.
