MLB: Marlins player reportedly went out in Atlanta days before season begin
USA Today baseball insider Bob Nightengale has stated that "at least" one player of the Miami Marlins but possibly more players have left the team hotel during their stay in Atlanta only days before the season began.
He believes that "some guys got careless, at least one guy did for sure, he went out, and came back positive and spread it around" causing the outbreak inside the team where 17 players of the Marlins tested positive. Official statements regarding the outbreak from the Major League Baseball and Miami Marlins are still outstanding.
