Berlin: 30,000 passengers without face mask in public transportation

After about a month into the enforcement of the mandated mask requirement, the Berlin Transport Authority (BVG) has counted 30,000 passengers who were travelling without a mask. In just 200 cases, contractual penalties of €50 were imposed and in 80 cases there were violent attacks on security personnel.

I have been working in the private security industry since 2009 and switched to public transport security in 2017. In addition to this work, I am working as an expert for industry-related scientific work, as an author for security wikis and as a consultant. The development of security concepts, security standards and awareness concepts is a central theme throughout my professional career. In 2013 I completed my bachelor's degree in "Security Management" at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR). In my professional activity during his studies, I specialized as a security consultant for the hotel industry and worked as a consultant for emergency management. In order to further develop my specialist knowledge, I studied at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences "Security Management" and graduated as a Master of Science with a focus on security awareness and building security management (security concepts). The focus of my master thesis was the profile direction "Business Continuity Management" with the development of emergency and crisis management models for public institutions. In 2017 I certified myself as "Expert for private security services" according to DIN EN ISO / IEC 17024. The English Magazine "The Professional Security Officer Magazine" described me as "one of the leading names in German security [...] with rapidly increasing international recognition" in May 2020.
