German state of Baden-Württemberg plans forced admission of Covid-19 quarantine breakers
The State Social Minister of Baden-Württemberg Manfred Lucha (Greens) has announced on Tuesday that people who do not go into quarantine despite a Covid-19 infection and do not respond to other sanctions will in the future be able to be forcibly admitted to central hospitals by the police. In addition, the state government wants to include a nationwide ban on the outdoor drinking of alcohol in the next Covid-19 ordinance.
