Berlin presents a new anti-terror concept

The Berlin Senator for the Interior Andres Geisel has presented the new concept for the fight against terrorism in the capital. Four years after the attack on Breitscheidplatz, the cooperation between security authorities is to be strengthened, cell phone data is to be evaluated more easily and prevention measures are to be promoted.

The new concept "SAVE" (first letters of the German words for: Protect, Enlighten, Prevent and Contain) is intended to support this.

I have been working in the private security industry since 2009 and switched to public transport security in 2017. In addition to this work, I am working as an expert for industry-related scientific work, as an author for security wikis and as a consultant. The development of security concepts, security standards and awareness concepts is a central theme throughout my professional career. In 2013 I completed my bachelor's degree in "Security Management" at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR). In order to further develop my specialist knowledge, I studied at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences "Security Management" and graduated as a Master of Science with a focus on security awareness and building security management (security concepts). The focus of my master thesis was the profile direction "Business Continuity Management" with the development of emergency and crisis management models for public institutions. In 2017 I certified myself as "Expert for private security services" according to DIN EN ISO / IEC 17024. The English Magazine "The Professional Security Officer Magazine" described me as "one of the leading names in German security [...] with rapidly increasing international recognition" in May 2020.
