Berlin bans demonstration against Covid-19 measures

The Berlin authorities have banned the large demonstration against the Covid-19 measures planned for this Saturday.

"Freedom of assembly does not mean being able to disregard applicable law"

Among the expected group of participants, violations of the current infection protection ordinance can be expected, said Interior Senator Andreas Geisel (SPD) on August 26, 2020.
