US Surgeon General calls for preparation for Covid-19 vaccine by Nov 1, "just in case"
US Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams said the country should prepare for a Covid-19 vaccine distribution by November 1, "just in case" one is ready.
"We've always said that we are hopeful for a vaccine by the end of this year or beginning of next year," Adams told ABC News. "That said, it's not just about having a vaccine that is safe and effective. It's about being ready to distribute it."
