United States see highest number of new Covid-19 cases in a a single day

The United States have recorded the highest number of new Covid-19 cases in a single day with 45,667 new cases reported on Wednesday. Previously the highest number of new cases in a single day was recorded in April, though the number this time is over 9,000 cases higher.
