25,600 confirmed Coronavirus cases in New York City

The number of confirmed cases has risen to 25,600 in New York City, home to over 8 million people. As of Tuesday, 210 people have died from the novel Coronavirus. It is estimated that 140,000 hospital beds will be needed at the peak of the outbreak in New York State, while only a third of that number is available.
