Brazil registers 40,673 new cases of Covid-19, 1,180 deaths

The consortium of Brazilian media companies, compiling data from state health authorities, announced Thursday Brazil recorded 40,673 new confirmed cases of the Covid-19 in the past 24 hours as well as 1,180 deaths.

The country has now a death toll of 55,054, and 1,233,147 confirmed cases.
