Brazil overtakes Spain and Italy in number of Covid-19 confirmed cases

As President Jair Bolsonaro continues to downplay the pandemic, Brazil has now the fourth-largest coronavirus outbreak in the world, surpassing Italy and Spain in the number of confirmed cases.

Brazil's total number of cases reached 233,142 after the Health Ministry accounted for 14,919 new cases. The total number of deaths in the country is at 15,633.
