Austria reinstates mandatory masks in grocery stores, banks and post offices

Starting Friday, masks and face coverings will be mandatory in Austrian supermarkets, banks and post offices amid rising Covid-19 cases. The mandate had been lifted in mid-June for most public indoor places except in public transport, medical facilities and small spaces such as hair salons.
The country has reported between 80-130 daily cases for the past week, its highest numbers since mid-April.
