Security industry in Germany focus of tax fraud: Annual report of the main customs office in Rosenheim

The annual report of the main customs office in Rosenheim shows once again that the security industry in Germany is the focus of undeclared work: 50 companies were checked, and 20 people are still being investigated for social security fraud or subsidies.

The most extensive inspections took place during the "Audi Cup" in the Allianz Arena in Munich, where almost every second inspected security employee was in violation of regulations such as social security, immigration and trade laws.

I have been working in the private security industry since 2009 and switched to public transport security in 2017. In addition to this work, I am working as an expert for industry-related scientific work, as an author for security wikis and as a consultant. In my professional activity during his studies, I specialized as a security consultant for the hotel industry and worked as a consultant for emergency management. In order to further develop my specialist knowledge, I studied at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences "Security Management" and graduated as a Master of Science with a focus on security awareness and building security management (security concepts). The focus of my master thesis was the profile direction "Business Continuity Management" with the development of emergency and crisis management models for public institutions. In 2017 I certified myself as "Expert for private security services" according to DIN EN ISO / IEC 17024. The English Magazine "The Professional Security Officer Magazine" described me as "one of the leading names in German security [...] with rapidly increasing international recognition" in May 2020.
