Covid-19 patient gets fined €10,800 for repeated breach of mandatory quarantine in Austria

The Austrian Innsbruck Regional court has imposed a fine of €10,800 on a 54-year-old woman from Germany. The woman had previously tested positive for Covid-19 and broken her mandatory quarantine. The police in Schwaz in the region of Tyrol had warned her three times before filing a formal complaint. As a consequence she then has been charged for deliberately exposing people to communicable diseases.
