Germany, Bremen: Process over 157,000 stolen cigarillo sticks will end with deal

In 2014, a total of 10 to 15 people, including security guards who manipulated the alarm system, were said to have stolen 157,000 cigarillo sticks - worth almost € 3 million.

To speed up the proceedings, the accused, the public prosecutor and the court have agreed on a deal: Confessions will be rewarded with suspended sentences of between one and two months and two years. The verdict could be announced as soon as Thursday.

I have been working in the private security industry since 2009 and switched to public transport security in 2017. The focus of my master thesis was the profile direction "Business Continuity Management" with the development of emergency and crisis management models for public institutions. In 2017 I certified myself as "Expert for private security services" according to DIN EN ISO / IEC 17024. The English Magazine "The Professional Security Officer Magazine" described me as "one of the leading names in German security [...] with rapidly increasing international recognition" in May 2020.
