Dita Von Teese has responded to the allegations of abuse made against her ex-husband Marilyn Manson by actress Evan Rachel Wood and several other women.

"I have been processing the news that broke Monday regarding Marylin Manson. To those who have expressed your concerns of my well-being, I appreciate your kindness. Please know that the details made public do not match my personal experience during our 7 years together as a couple. Had they, I would not have married him in December 2005. I left 12 months later due to infidelity and drug abuse," von Teese wrote in a statement posted on Instagram. "Abuse of any kind has no place in any relationship. I urge those of you who have incurred abuse to take steps to heal and the strength to fully realize yourself."

A series set in Wakanda is in development at Disney Plus. Ryan Coogler, who will develop the series, is already working on the Black Panther sequel, which begins filming later in 2021.

"Ryan Coogler is a singular storyteller whose vision and range have made him one of the standout filmmakers of his generation," Bob Iger, Executive Chairman of The Walt Disney Company said in a statement. "With Black Panther, Ryan brought a groundbreaking story and iconic characters to life in a real, meaningful and memorable way, creating a watershed cultural moment. In a statement for Proximity Media, Coogler described his experience on Black Panther as "a dream come true" and his excitement to further the relationship with The Walt Disney Company and Marvel Studios on "select MCU shows for Disney+."

My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how - and why - others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth," so Manson.

An actor and stand-up comedian, Diamond found fame playing Samuel "Screech" Powers for more than a decade on the "Saved by the Bell" franchise, died Monday after a recent cancer diagnosis, according to Diamond's manager, Roger Paul.

The actor was diagnosed with cancer and hospitalized just three weeks ago.

Diamond's "Save by the Bell" costars, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez and Tiffany Thiessen, paid tribute to the late actor on social media.

For years, actress and activist Evan Rachel Wood has spoken out about living as a survivor of sexual violence. In an Instagram post published Monday, she named Marilyn Manson as the abuser.

Wood wrote: “He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”

Actress Cicely Tyson dies aged 96

Emmy- and Tony-winning actress Cicely Tyson has died at the age of 96 on Thursday, just days after the publication of her memoir "Just As I Am".

Tyson is known for her roles in movies, TV shows and on broadway and co-founded the Dance Theater of Harlem in 1969.

"I have managed Miss Tyson’s career for over 40 years, and each year was a privilege and blessing. Cicely thought of her new memoir as a Christmas tree decorated with all the ornaments of her personal and professional life. Today she placed the last ornament, a Star, on top of the tree," so her manager Larry Thompson in a statement.

As a study from London's Imperial College revealed that Covid-19 cases in England are "not falling," despite a third lockdown, the Glastonbury music festival has been cancelled once again, festival organizers announced on Thursday.

2021 will mark the second summer in a row where the international festival was not held after the 2020 event was cancelled last March.

"In spite of our efforts to move Heaven & Earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the Festival happen this year," organizers Michael and Emily Eavis said in a joint statement on Thursday.

Glastonbury has been headlined by a glittering array of British and global stars since its first date in 1970, including David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Oasis, U2 and Beyoncé.

The actress Mira Furlan has died at the age of 65. Her cause of death has not been made public yet. Crew members had "known for some time now that Mira’s health was fading" and "kept hoping that she would improve."

Furlan is known for her roles in Babylon 5 and Lost.

Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski wrote on Twitter: "It is a night of great sadness, for our friend and comrade had gone down the road where we cannot reach her. Magician and tiger tamer Siegfried Fischbacher has died at the age of 81. According to a report in the "Bild" newspaper, he had suffered from terminal pancreatic cancer. The malignant tumor had been removed, but there was no prospect of a cure, the newspaper reported. Together with his colleague and partner Roy Horn, Fischbacher had achieved world fame with tiger and lion acts. In May 2020, Roy died at the age of 75 as a result of a Covdi-19 infection.

Grammys postpone 2021 ceremony until March over Covid-19 concerns

The 2021 Grammy Awards, initially scheduled for January 31, have been postponed until March due to a steady rise of Covid-19 infections in California.

"The deteriorating COVID situation in Los Angeles, with hospital services being overwhelmed, ICUs having reached capacity, and new guidance from state and local governments have all led us to conclude that postponing our show was the right thing to do," so the Recording Academy and CBS in a statement. "Nothing is more important than the health and safety of those in our music community and the hundreds of people who work tirelessly on producing the show. We want to thank all of the talented artists, the staff, our vendors and especially this year’s nominees for their understanding, patience and willingness to work with us as we navigate these unprecedented times."
