Lady Gaga wins five prizes and receives special award at MTV Video Music Awards

The US musician Lady Gaga won a total of five awards at the MTV Video Music Awards in her hometown New York on Monday night. For her Artist*of the Year win she received a special Tricon Award to honor her commitment as an activist as well as her artistic work.
