Lou Ottens, inventor of the cassette tape, dies aged 94

Dutch engineer and inventor of the cassette tape Lou Ottens has died at the age of 94 on 6 March 2021 in his hometown Duizel, Netherlands. For his entire career, he worked for Philips, where he served as the head of the product development department
