After a year marked by countless achievements and a lot of challenges, we here at Pendect have decided to cease operations. This decision comes with a heavy heart and after many difficult conversations in the team. We truly believe that the current news environment needs a makeover, a fresh perspective and an open, community-sourced and diverse approach.

The company announced that they'll enable access to advanced hangout functions for all existing G Suite and G Suite Education customers. This means that video calls can be recorded and saved, videos can be streamed for up to 100,000 viewers per domain and video calls can have up to 250 participants. The company said that they want to enable schools to continue education even when physical teaching is not possible due to health concerns with corona.
Out of 290 members, 23 have gotten a positive test result for the coronavirus.
The US has a program in place that enables the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to potentially reimburse hospitals and other health providers for treating uninsured patients. The reimbursement rates are set at around 110% of the Medicare rates. Currently, the Centers are evaluating if the program should be used for the treatment of uninsured corona patients.

Following the drop out of Andrew Yang out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, his former contender Marianne Williamson switches her endorsement from Andrew Yang to Senator Bernie Sanders who is still in the race. As of January 31 2020 Kentucky had a historically high number of registered voters, the Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adamas announced. In total Kentucky now has over 3,462,152 registered voters. The Democratic party has a slight lead with 48% of the voters affiliating with their party, compared to 43% of the total voters affiliating with the Republican party. Around 9% have other political affiliations. The last day to register for the May 19 primary is April 20.
Following the briefing about the alleged Russian interference with the US Election 2020 in favor of Donald Trump, the US president reportedly called the acting Directory of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire and removed him from his office. As a replacement Trump appointed the US ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, in the position of acting Director of National Intelligence.

This is important in particular because if no candidate has a majority on the first ballot, 500 superdelegates that aren't appointed through primaries can vote in the second one.
In an interview the former congressman for the republican party in California Dana Rohrabacher confirmed that he offered Julian Assange a presidential pardon in 2017. Before the confirmation, only Assange's lawyers claimed that a presidential pardon was offered to the WikiLeaks founder. The offer was tied to the condition that Assange provides prove that Russia hasn't been the source of the, by WikiLeaks published, internal emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
